By day, I am a software engineer, by night I dabble at sewing. I’ve been around a sewing machine for as long as I can remember. The very first thing I can first memory was sitting next to my mother, handing her pieces to sew together for a quilt. My grandmother who was a great seamstress taught me to sew clothes for my dolls over my summer vacations. I was around eleven when I first learned to use a pattern, and ever since then I’ve been surrounded by sewing projects and heaps of fabric.
